Season Outlook:

The Washington Wildcats have one thing on their mind in the 2008 football season - winning games.

Most teams win games at the line, and the Wildcats plan on doing the same.

On offense, the Wildcats bring back seven starters, including four offensive linemen. Aiman Al-Sewadi and Kenneth Johnson look to lead that bunch, with two-way player Sam Ronan joining them on the offensive line this season.

Quarterback Joe Franzone comes back and also has wide receiver Xavier Brown to throw to, along with tight end Ryan Onkka.

The defense will also be led by their line, with two starters returning, including Ronan. Kevin Cook and Karstan Smith will join Ronan for one of the top lines in the area.

Junior defensive back Durall Sumler is back this season, and looks to turn heads this season.

The schedule is demanding for Washington, as Coach Bergalowski is known for never dodging any teams.

Trips to Milton on September 19 and Pace on October 3 will test the Wildcats early.

District play gets kicked off with district favorite Pine Forest on October 10 and resumes two weeks later against Escambia on October 24.

Niceville will wrap up district play for the Wildcats in the season finale on November 7.
