Escambia RB moves up in latest Rival.com national player list.

Trent Richardson is now a five-star prospect, thanks to the recent update to the Rivals.com national player list, Rivals100.

Richardson moved up from the 27th best prospect in the nation to the 11th, thanks to Florida's Friday Night Lights camp, where he impressed scouts with soft hands, good change of direction and his muscular appearance.

Richardson is now rated as the 2nd best running back prospect in the nation, only behind Bryce Brown from Kansas. He also moved up to the 2nd best prospect from the state of Florida, right behind Madison County DT Jacobbi McDaniel.

Richardson committed to Alabama earlier this year, and expects to have a big senior season for the Escambia Gators. To find out more info on the Gators, check out the PSB 2008 Escambia Gator preview.
