Timely hit wins it for Suns Matt Dominguez's run-scoring single off of Robert Hinton in the bottom of the ninth inning gave the Jacksonville Suns a 2-1 win over Huntsville on Monday night, stopping the Stars' three-game winning streak.

Lee Haydel went 3-for-3 and had the lone RBI for the Stars (16-15). His single in the second inning drove in Chris Nowak, who had doubled earlier in the inning.

Wily Peralta gave Huntsville a strong start on the mound. He went six innings and gave up just one earned run. He struck out five.

Lucas Luetge (1-2) took the loss for Huntsville, giving up one run in 1 1/3 innings.
