Royals blow by Blue Devils, win 39-6.

Jay ran for 274 yards and passed for another 121 in their season-opening victory over Holmes County, 39-6.

Rush Hendricks and Stephen Brabham accounted for three touchdowns in the first quarter, and Dakota Boughton brought back a punt for 36 yards to extend the Royals lead in the second quarter.

Boughton ended the night with nine carries for 95 yards.

The Royals created five turnovers on the night.
