Jay goes to the air to defeat Baker, 30-15.
Jay is known for their physical, hard-nose running offense. Well, it looks like Coach Elijah Bell may have a new wrinkle in the Jay offense. The Royals connected on touchdown passes of 22 yards, 47 yards and 54 yards. Jay quarterback Stephen Brabham threw for a total of 197 yards. After Baker tied the game at eight, Jay rolled off 22 unanswered points in their Kick-Off Classic victory. Jay also had some scoring help from the defense, as Chris Carrigan brought back an interception 26-yards for a score. Jay will start the regular season next week, as they square up against Holmes County. |
