Eagles use balanced offense, beat Crusaders 10-0.

Pine Forest took to the air on Thursday, surprisngly, to knock off Catholic in the Kick-Off Classic.

Junior quarterback David Lawrence, who only had two pass attempts the entire first half, put together four straight passes on the opening possession of the second half, including a 15-yard touchdown strike, to give Pine Forest their only touchdown of the game.

The Pine Forest defense would take over for the remainder of the game, holding on dearly to that 10-0 lead.

The Eagles held the Crusaders to -11 yards for the scrimmage.

Pine Forest starts their season off with a clash with Pace on Friday, while Catholic plays host to Northview.
